Amperor Lauch Their LED Voltage Stabiliser
Undoubtedly, LED light bulbs are looking to be the future of the leisure market as well as industrial lighting due to the many advantages they have over the infamous incandescent light bulbs.
1. The lifespan of LED light bulbs is estimated to be about 100,000 hours, which is around 11 years of continuous operation! Now, compare this with an incandescent light bulb that has no more than 5000 hours of life. Really, no match! So, if there’s a place at your premises that is routinely hard to access but needs lighting, you know what to do – just install an LED light bulb of adequate output and forget about replacing it for a couple of decades or even more!
2. The increased lifespan of LED light bulbs also translate into savings worth thousands of dollars on a single light point during the next couple of decades. A single LED light bulb may be costlier than a single incandescent light bulb but the true cost is in the number of replacements required in case of an incandescent light bulb.
3. Savings in terms of power consumption is a major highlight of LED light bulbs. An incandescent light bulb operates at a mere 20% efficiency while an LED light bulb operates at around 80% efficiency, i.e., an LED light bulb converts close to 80% of electrical energy into light energy compared to just 20% in case of incandescent light bulb. This, in turn, leads to handsome savings in your electricity bills if you completely transform your lighting needs from incandescent or halogens to LED.
Okay so I can see the longterm benefits from LED lighting, so how do I protect them from surges and spiking?
Introducing the Amperor ADP-70DC LED Regulator
The ADP-70DC is designed to provide a stabiliser 12 volt supply to LED lighting either it be in a Caravan, Motorhome or Boat. The typical voltage in any of these vehicles can vary from 10 volts to 15 volts depending on the state of the leisure battery, what else is being used inside the vehicle and whether the battery is being charged or not at the time
Many electronic appliances such as 12 volt LED’s are not designed for such a wide variation of input supply and cannot tolerate the level of swings in the voltage. It can be frustrating when reading a book when the lights are illuminated and then they turn off, just because a water pump is being operated. Worse still, manufactures of LED lights advise us that their LED’s are actually damaged by voltages over about 13 volts. LED’s that should last a number of decades are being severely damaged within a few months. Such is the problem that some LED manufactures are saying that their warranty is void if their LED’s are used on an unregulated 12 volt supply
The answer is to use the Amperor ADP-70DC LED regulator which will provide a regulated 12 volt output even if the input varies between 10 volts and 16 volts.
The main features of the ADP-70DC are:-
· Provides a regulated 12 volt supply for safe operation of LED lighting
· The regulated supply prevents damage to 12 volt LED’s due to over voltage
· The regulated supply prevents premature switching off of TV’s due to low voltage

Amperor Voltz Kit Tried and Tested by Scotlands Latest Major Up & Coming Band - The Ideal Panic

Voltz pedal power picks up where our competitors drop off
The Ideal Panic noticed that they were not able to use all their effects due to the fact they were setup for line voltages from their homeland, Ayrshire, Scotland. They did have one of our competitors power supplies, but it only supplied voltages to pedals that required 9 an 18VDC inputs. They had a pedal in particular, EHX Deluxe Memory Man that requited 25VDC and was rendered useless due to the fact that the power supply that came with the pedal only worked with 110VAC input power
Enter Voltz Battery Pedal Board Power Supply with universal AC input capabilities and battery power! Amperor helped set them up for the show and ran the EHX 24VDC pedal; with battery power alone flawlessly for the entire show. If you are a touring band that regularly has to cross the pond during the course of the year, you ill come to appreciate the Voltz universal input from 90~240 VAC that allows you to power your whole entire pedal board without Ac adapters. The Voltz system powers effect pedals that use 9V, 12V, 15V, 18V, 24V and 40VDC inputs and each converter is DC isolated and regulated for the superior noise free performance
The Ideal Panic, so who are they?
Since its inception in the early 2006, the band has been honing its sound and terrorizing audiences with key shows, including a support with The Harrisons at King Tuts and The Hazey Janes at ABC2. With a sound described as The Smith and The Police out for a pint whilst getting into a brawl with The Doves the future is definitely bright for these 5 young lads. The result: a potent combination of catchy melodies jangly guitars and a powerful rhythm section
Here's what vocalist/guitarist Chris Walker had to say about the Voltz kit:
"The Amperor Voltz kit supplies my pedals with clean and consistent power. Its battery operations keeps my rig quiet and hum-free, even with single coils, and can provide enough juice for my TC delay that used to require its own PSU. I love the freedom it affords me in the studio or stage as I don't need to position myself near a power outlet so my performance is not comprised and my setup time is shortened. I have run it for rehearsal, studio session and two gigs without having to recharge!"

Bringing power to the pedals with Amperor VOLTZ music power kit
Irvine, Scotland - 16th June 2009- Amperor Europe a professional power supply design company and manufacturer, is pleased to announce the launch of the Voltz kit. Through this product Amperor is committed to help musicians and sound engineers to enhance their music and to simplft their work. Musicians can concentrate on making beautiful musical notes, while Amperors solutions will help them with tedious issues such as noise reduction, guiar pedal setup, power, and battery replacement
Amperor are introducing the Voltz kit, the most effect pedal power supply on the market. "The Voltz's built-in 6000mAh battery is so powerful that it can power up to 20 pedals for 8 consecutive hours from one charge. Additionally, the isolated output system can totally eliminate 60 cycle hum and ground loop hiss that bother musicians for decades" said Craig McQuiston, Technical Engineer
A few words from the CEO & president Dr. RC Ho:
"Our aim is to keep our customers happy, and our desire, by means of this website, is to work directly with you, to supply products that are tailored to your individual power needs" Amperor plans on adding more products, musician blogs & knowledge articles on their webpage and blog site in the coming months to become both the product and the knowledge leader in providing clean and safe power for musical instruments
So let's bring some power to these pedals
Introducing the most advanced effect pedal power supply ever - VOLTZ! A large 6.0Ah battery coupled with an integrated AC/DC and DC/DC charger allows you to power up to 20 pedals at a time, up to 8 hours in one charge anywhere in the world
No more 60 cycle hum or ground loop hiss to worry about . . . . The Voltz system is 100% guaranteed to solve all of your noise problems in your guitar effects pedal rig
With the milliVoltz isolated DC/DC converters, you are able to power any effect pedal requiring DC voltage from 9VDC to 40VDC. The millivoltz also has superior voltage regulation and can handle 500mA of current per output to get the best tone out of your pedals
Okay, milliVoltz, so what are they?
MilliVoltz isolated DC/Dc converters provide silent power to your pedal effects. They work by either bucking or boosting the input voltage from the Voltz battery pack unit to provide the required voltage for the effect pedal. Each milliVoltz converter has an output filter circuit as well as an isolation transformer which equates to no noise causing ground loops in the power chain
MilliVoltz are as powerful as a normal AC/DC wall wart, providing up to 750mA of output each, depending on the output voltage
MilliVoltz are also scalable because of the daisy-chain configuration in which they are installed. If your pedal board requires another output, all that is required is another MilliVoltz in the power chain
With the interchangeable tip configuration on the MilliVoltz, it is able to provide power to any effect pedal that requires DC voltage
Finally, you can throw away all of the noisy wall warts and never have to worry about a dead battery again . . .not to mention your set-up time will be reduced to just the time it takes to flip a switch
Okay can you summarise for me?
Versatile
Voltz pedal board power supply can provide power through the built-in battery pack. Users can also plug the Voltz power supply into an outlet on the wall. With isolated output adapters, Voltz power supply can convert the AC power into the voltage your effect pedals need
High Battery Capacity
Voltz pedal board power supply included a 6000 mAh Li-ion battery pack. It is powerful; enough to run a basic set of eight pedals for 24 consecutive hours on one run can be a full weeks worth of gigs and rehearsals
Charge and use Anywhere
Voltz pedal board power supply had an AC and an auto charger built-in on the unit. It can be charged while in the car, van, bus pr from the wall. Additionally the charger accepts universal input voltage, so it can be used anywhere in the world

Swapping out your faulty charger for our Amperor MV3/180C Charger
1. Remove DC terminals from housing
First remove the tab terminals from the 3-way housing using a small terminal screwdriver. The retaining tab will need to be pushed back, at the same time pull the wire from the back of the moulding. Make sure to note which cable is positive and negative as shown. The third cable is not required and can be taped up. This terminal is normally used to indicate on the control panel when the charger is switched on, but this feature is not provided on the MV3/180C
2. Connect terminals to the MV3/180C
Connect the positive and negative terminals to the MV3 unit, make sure the polarity is correct. We recommend covering the terminals with an insulating sleeve or tape to stop them from shorting onto the casing of the unit
3. Connect AC input cable
Connect the existing AC input cable directly to the MV3 unit. No modification is required for the cable. The unit can now be switched on and tested
For further information on the MV3/180C please follow the AmperorResearch link or the Amperor store link
